Sidecar is not working with Cisco AnyConnect VPN

Sidecar disconnects once I connect using Cisco AnyConnect VPN. With out the VPN it works perfect. But once I am log into Cisco AnyConnect VPN, when I connect using the cable or no cable, my sidecar pre-VPN session disconnects and returns: "Unable to Connnect to "iPad name"; A miscellaneous error occurred (32002) then the iPad screen goes black. When reviewing the black screen it is the sidecar failed session. If anyone has a solution please advise.

I was reverted by apple support to open a feedback with apple since those are routed to development. When I attempted to create a feedback, sidecar or Catalina was not a selectable option. Looks like someone forgot to update the service site. The Apple chat advisor will be opening up the feedback ticket on our behalf. Please address your concern here and if anyone has come up with a temporary solution, please share.

Same issue here. Cisco's AnyConnect client has a horrible time dealing with the AWDL (Apple Wireless Direct Link) technology. If you have handoff enabled it'd cause the AnyConnect client to reconnect every few minutes as AWDL re-creates a virtual interface. I'm willing to bet SideCar leverages AWDL (even when wired) to transmit data. Either Apple needs to update SideCar to leverage all communications over the USB interface (though I don't think a USB2 speed cable is sufficient and would cause significant lag) or Cisco needs to get their act together and have a proper QA team to test a major OS being released while it's still in beta!
