Catalina : Subtitles appear in the middle of the screen (dead center)

When I enable the subtitles in a movie/homevideo/TV show that is streamed via homesharing, it appears in the middle of the screen ( dead center).

This occurs on any Catalina and iOS13 device ( MacBook, iMac, Apple TV , iPad, iPhone ) using the native videoplayer .

Copying the movie locally to the device does not help, but when using another player (VLC, Oplayer,... ) the problem isn't there so the problem lies within the native video playback software

Downgrading to iOS12/Mojave solves this problem.

Does anyone have the same problem, and found a way to fix it ?
