Apple seems to have been including Canon printer drivers scanner support through macOS10.14.6 Mojave. Will macOS10.15 Catalina continue support Canon printer/scanners with the 32-bit print drivers? If not, does anyone know a work around? My printer is a Canon Pixma TS6220 and was purchased less than 6 months ago.

Hard to think how Apple could have made the no-support-for-32 Bit-applications warning any clearer. Would something like the don't-walk symbol have helped?
Foghorn59 had it right for canon driver and iOS catalina. Right on! Now I can't find where the printer software was installed. Does anyone know?
Yes it was clear but this doesn't excuse manufacturers not being ahead of their game. Right now I have an expensive plotter sitting next to me which is being used as a door stop.
My ts8050 scanner/printer is works now I needed a firmware upgrade.
And what do you do if you want a scan 50 pages in one time ??its only page per page?

I have the same problem with a PIXMA E471. The error returned by the scanner is the same. Do you find a solution?
I had this exact same problem with Catalina and a TR4500. Just installed the latest Catalina update....and it's magically appeared/working. Hope this solves it for you all also!
Use Preview instead of the scanner app, it works for me!
That's great - now if someone knows where to find the IJ App for the Maxify MB2750, I would love to know. I couldn't locate it on the printerdrives.com site.

when I choose the ipf8400 its the same as in Europe: "There is no driver for the OS Version you selected. The driver may be included in your OS or you may not need a driver."

Had problem with Catalina update and Canon MX512 printer OK but no scanner. Problem solved with Apple suggestion reinstalled by USB now printer and scanner working just perfectly in wireless mode
Hi firstsenior - can you give me some more details about how you reinstalled by USB - was that connecting your mac to the printer via USB, or by putting the Canon drivers on a USB?
