Dragging to the left in Catalinasidecar

Side car is a great addition to my Mac, however, I can only drag items to the right of the screen.

It works better for me to have my iPad on the left of my MacBook Pro but I still have to drag off to the right and use the mouse off to the right which is very confusing. 

Is there a way to drag to the left and use the mouse to the left?
