MacOS Mojave model A1278
My friend accidentally deleted his harddrive! Is there anyway to recover it!??? Please help
If by deleted, you mean completely erased his Late 2008 MacBook's internal HDD, then he has a limited number of choices going forward:
- If he make a Time Machine or clone copy of his notebook's drive, he could use Recovery Mode to reload OS X or macOS. He can then use Migration Assistant to restore his data from the Time Machine backup.
- If he doesn't have a backup, then at best, he should be able to reload the notebook's OS using Recovery Mode.
