Mine is far less concerning than others, but I updated Bootcamp through Apple Software Update on the Windows side (after the updated to 10.15.2), and now the control panel for Bootcamp is gone, and any attempts to reinstall fail. I only use Windows to play one game, so no huge issue for me, just a minor inconvenience that now I have to hit the Fn key to use F1-F4...

I have tried to do bootcamp as well. I get through the assistant, my computer restarts. Does it thing in booting up to windows for me to enter the key code and start installing. When I get to the part to select the partition that boot camp assistant made, it comes up with an error saying it can't be used or found. I have deleted it redid it many times. I am not sure what else to do, everything is updated also. please help :(

I'm right there with you. This transition is almost as bad as when Windows released Vista, which is what made me a Mac user to begin with. I went through **** getting my music and photo libraries to work after a fresh install of Catalina, and now I'm stuck not being able to install Bootcamp. Absolutely ridiculous. Even after 2 updates to the OS, it still feels like this is a beta OS.

I decided to try some old school tricks. I reset NVRAM and that did not work. I then did a disk repair for the entire disk.

On the first attempt to boot to Windows the screen went black. On the second attempt some Windows updates finished that must have been waiting and now I am back in Windows although it seems slow. Wifi works but is slow.

The issue I had with BootCamp was on my Mac Pro (late 2013).

and the only issue was with not being able to access the wireless network.

my guess was it had to do with not being able to track down the proper driver for the wireless card.

if I more time, I think I could have tracked that down.

it worked hard wired to my LAN.

in the meantime, after getting a new MacBook Pro, the Mac Pro seemed slow and the firewire and usb interface was all of a sudden like dial-up in comparison. So I no longer have it and decided to do emulation instead.
