The issue I had with BootCamp was on my Mac Pro (late 2013).
and the only issue was with not being able to access the wireless network.
my guess was it had to do with not being able to track down the proper driver for the wireless card.
if I more time, I think I could have tracked that down.
it worked hard wired to my LAN.
in the meantime, after getting a new MacBook Pro, the Mac Pro seemed slow and the firewire and usb interface was all of a sudden like dial-up in comparison. So I no longer have it and decided to do emulation instead.
Repeat on 10.15.4...Bootcamp won't work with my USB keyboards on MacBook Pro mid-2013 now. Only works with USB devices disconnected...Ouch Apple!
Anyone flag up any issues with updating an existing macOS which also has an existing Bootcamp install on the drive. Particularly those with an extra read/write partition for both OSs.
I use Windows for 90% of my work as my battery and performance is much better with the same applications, but I do require MacOS for XCode so need to duel boot.
Bit concerned about the new split partition stuff on the MacOS install as my setup was a pain as it was. Have a late 2015 MBP with SDD in 3 partitions. HFS+ for MacOS (60g) NTFS for Windows (60g) and a Fat32 shared drive with the rest of the space. I can rebuild either/both my Mac or Windows install if required, but would rather not spend the time on it.
Part of me wants to just press the update button, but I don't want to lose my main OS and workspace for the sake of the new XCode lolz.
I have 10.15.1 and still having a problem. I just upgraded to Catalina and my partition part of Windows is either extremely slow or not working at all. I have Windows 10 Pro version 1903. I wonder if I should update Windows? I haven't found a solution yet for this. I contacted Apple about this and passed the buck to Microsoft. They in turn said it's an Apple problem
I tried to install it twice in our 2016 MPB and first time it stopped while partitioning. Started over and it installed fine but cannot set up windows because it won't see the wifi network. Installed without wifi and it says that windows doesn't have the driver for my network card. Not sure what to do now except start over?
Mine is far less concerning than others, but I updated Bootcamp through Apple Software Update on the Windows side (after the updated to 10.15.2), and now the control panel for Bootcamp is gone, and any attempts to reinstall fail. I only use Windows to play one game, so no huge issue for me, just a minor inconvenience that now I have to hit the Fn key to use F1-F4...
I have tried to do bootcamp as well. I get through the assistant, my computer restarts. Does it thing in booting up to windows for me to enter the key code and start installing. When I get to the part to select the partition that boot camp assistant made, it comes up with an error saying it can't be used or found. I have deleted it redid it many times. I am not sure what else to do, everything is updated also. please help :(
I'm right there with you. This transition is almost as bad as when Windows released Vista, which is what made me a Mac user to begin with. I went through **** getting my music and photo libraries to work after a fresh install of Catalina, and now I'm stuck not being able to install Bootcamp. Absolutely ridiculous. Even after 2 updates to the OS, it still feels like this is a beta OS.

I decided to try some old school tricks. I reset NVRAM and that did not work. I then did a disk repair for the entire disk.
On the first attempt to boot to Windows the screen went black. On the second attempt some Windows updates finished that must have been waiting and now I am back in Windows although it seems slow. Wifi works but is slow.
Hi, I have similar question regarding this as well.
I have boot camp partition with Windows 10 in my macbook pro. Currently running on macOS Mojave and wondering if I can safely update to macOS Catalina without messing up with the boot camp?
I have no other partitions.
Same issue here. Any answer?
Not for me. Seems the problem is with my fusion drive :-/
