MacOS Catalina does not show available
I tried all day to upgrade to MacOS Catalina. First the download repeatedly timed out and now this evening it says my system is currently up to date with Mojave. For my Mac Air (Early 2015)

Look in your Applications Folder. Is there an "Install macOS Catalina.app" present?" If so, delete it and retry the Software Update.
I'm having the same problem as jerremea, Tried continually to download and timed out. now MacBook Pro 2017 13" can't find it at all, in systems or in App Store. I had the "install Catalina..." you mentioned, and I deleted it. I've tried to download in safe mode even. It still says now "your Mac is up to date - macOS Mojave 10.14.6 (18G103)"
Nope. Nothing is there by that name or similar.
I am having the same Issue, and I can't seem to find information on this any where.
Same issue here
According to: macOS Catalina is compatible with these computers - Apple Support, your computer is compatible with Catalina.
Open the Mac App Store...Menu>App Store..., and try downloading it from that location.
I resolved my problem by doing a restore. press and hold down (option, command and R) as machine is booting until the apple appears. MacBook will restore to the newest version of MacOS.
Mine is running Catalina now. Seems that all my files are still in place, however you should make a back up before starting.
Hope this helps y'all
