Update Xcode 11.1 on macOS 10.15

The Update Xcode 11.1 cannot be installed on macOS 10.15 Catalina.

After downloading from the AppStore a message is displayed that a component cannot be loaded.

I use a MacBookPro 2018 15".

Xcode can't open because it is updating I have a mac-mini (late 2014) running Monterey 12.3.1. Since 12.3.1 installed (a couple of weeks ago) I haven't been able to open Xcode. The message "You can't open the application 'Xcode' because it is being updated." appears. I've shutdown the machine down and restarted it - no change. Gone to the App store and tried to download Xcode again. It never completes. Just the line circling for hours. Is it time upgrade my machine?

XCode 11.1 install fail XCode 11.0 update installed automatically under MacOS 10.14.6 and works fine. After MacOS 10.15 (Catalina), XCode 11.1 update repeatedly fails to install after downloading. Version 1.0 still works under MacOS 10.15 however. What am I doing wrong? Is it me or Apple? iMac (Retina 5K, 27-inch, Late 2014)

unable to update IOS on my mac as soon as i click on update now, restart option pops up and even after restarting the device i am unable to update the new macOS catalina10.15.7 not been able to use apps such as iMovies. please help update.

Try dragging the Xcode application to the Trash and deleting your Trash.

Then reinstall Xcode from the App Store; that worked for me.
