Can I connect two MacBooks using sidecar?

I have two MacBooks but don't have an iPad. I would love to be able to use one of these Macs as an external monitor–can I do this using sidecar?

Hi chrishillnz,

Thanks for posting your question about the Sidecar feature. I'm glad to provide an answer.

You would need an iPad to use Sidecar as shown here: Use your iPad as a second display for your Mac with Sidecar

It is possible to use some iMac models as an external display, but a MacBook can't be used as one. Instead, you'd want to look at the possibility of an external display: Use external monitors with your Mac

I hope I've answered your question! Have a good one.
