WiFi settings (proxy and others)

I’m not able to change proxy or any other settings on iPhone 11 iOS13.1.2 after saving proxy to manual they are back to “off”. That happens which any WiFi setting. What can be the reason?

Thanks for the post. I understand you might be running into some issues with proxy settings on your iPhone 11.


To clarify, is your device enrolled in Mobile Device Management or any other type of profile? If so, you may need to use these steps: Set advanced network settings in the iOS Setup Assistant


"If you're the system administrator for an enterprise, advise your users to set up their new devices for advanced network configurations with iOS Setup Assistant.

  1. On the Hello screen, press the Home button or swipe up.
  2. On the Choose a Wi-Fi Network screen, press the Home button or press and hold the Side button for 2 seconds.
  3. Tap More Wi-Fi Settings.
  4. Next to your network's name, tap .

From this screen, you can adjust the following settings:

  • Set up an HTTP proxy
  • Define static network settings
  • Renew the settings from a DHCP server
  • Turn on BootP
  • Configure DNS"
