iPhone 11 Pro Bluetooth problems.

Im having the same Bluetooth connectivity problems on my new iPhone 11 pro that have been discussed elsewhere. New iPhone 11 pro. Had no issues previously with iPhones. Car Bluetooth disconnects during calls After starting off connected. Work Bluetooth headset and personal Bluetooth headphones are also having problems connecting or staying connected, including mid-call. I reset all network settings in iOS and deleted and reconnected all Bluetooth devices to no avail. Running iOS 13.1.2. This is really frustrating Apple.

Ok I tried what someone suggested and it worked for my car Bluetooth issue. Now I have clear connection.

I have 13.2.2 and was having issues with bad connection and scratchy noise. So the solution for me was to reboot the iPhone. Delete my car connection under the Bluetooth option and reconnect to the car again.

to reboot press up volume, down volume and hold the power button. There are many YouTube videos on this.

then go to Bluetooth under settings and click on the car connection and select forget this device. Then reconnect to the car again.

good luck

I was having issues with my Bluetooth connection between my iPhone 11pro max and my 2016 Toyota Rav4. Called Apple support and the made me reset and all that stuff but the problem persisted. As it turns out I think the issue was with my Huawei watch 2. See I appreciate iPhones as much as the next guy but I'm not a fan of the Apple watch or the walled garden for that matter. Anyway forgetting the Android watch fixed it for me. Hope this helps anyone who might be in the same predicament.

I am on 13.2.2 and maybe out of Bluetooth issues. Two calls with no issues with Sony Bluetooth headset so far. What I did was that I followed these reset instructions on my iPhone 11: press volume down then up and then keep power button pressed until phone reboots. Then pair the devices. After this there has been no issues. At least today with the two calls I made. Let’s see if this continues to work or not...

Let me start with the warning: "If you use bluetooth DO NOT BUY AN IPHONE 11 until this issue is fixed" and here is why - After spending many hours deleting and reinstalling bluetooth connections, trying all the 'fixes' on this site and others, booking my car in for a software upgrade, sitting on the phone to a very polite but useless Apple person and generally wasting a huge amount of time, money and effort, I have come to the conclusion (as mirrored by most of the comments here) that the iphone 11 has a serious bluetooth defect as at IOS 13.2.3 and Apple hasn't seen fit to tell their technicians or the general public so we all just continue to waste our time trying to find a solution.

Just reposting my reply from another forum https://discussions.apple.com/thread/250725815?page=1

Took my iPhone 11 back to the Apple Store and explained the issue and what I had done to try to correct it. They hadn't heard of the problem but admitted there have been so many bugs with iOS 13. They replaced my phone with another 11 but said it might not fix the problem - and it didn't. They said it would hopefully be fixed with a future software update. They also said that Apple doesn't necessarily follow these posts and that it is best to notify them via their feedback link https://www.apple.com/feedback/

Go for it!

I have done the latest public Beta updates and the problem is still persisting. Apple CarPlay on a 2019 BMW, where my XS Max worked beautifully, but the 11 Pro Max is a disaster.

Crackly calls, connection/disconnection issues. Seems to be linked to doing multiple activities i.e. using maps, then making a call or dictating a message. It's hopeless.

My only hint as to what is wrong is that it may be linked to power management. When I plug the phone into a power source (the USB socket in the car) it seems to work better. Could be coincidence, of course.

Bottom line is the this is a sh*t show for Apple. Totally unacceptable.

Yep, same here. iPhone 11 (not pro) with ios 13.1.2 -- multiple BT devices, different brands/models, all are randomly disconnecting.

Been working with Apple, they installed a BT diagnostic profile, caught some good logs of the malfunction, we'll see if they manage to fix it. I've read probably 2^37th reports of BT connection failures. How could Apple have missed that???

Meantime, my 14-day return policy is almost expired -- taking my phone back the store today. This BT problem makes the phone utterly unusable to me. Back to my iPhone 7. sigh...

I have posted here several times. To date I have tried the uninstall/reinstall with the bluetooth/phone/car. Tried the "reset network settings" at suggestion of genius in apple store, tried wiping the entire phone and doing a complete software reset (which essentially creates a "new" phone - not restoring from iCloud backup in case there was anything corrupt in prior files on my phone) ....

At best, with each maneuver, I had perfectly clear reception/conversation ... for ONE phone call only. Each of four times, with four different maneuvers or efforts to address this, but worked each time for only one single call. Got my hopes up, then disappointed again. Which honestly makes me wonder if even a brand new phone would make any difference at all. Can always talk on the speaker on the iPhone in car but definitely not as clear or strong and seems like a disappointing work around. OR, bail out on the phone and go backward to the X or XS or something, which is also very disappointing.

I do think people should offer what they've tried, and speak up over and over. Only then will those who are googling or considering this new phone be possibly directed to read these posts. Which may provoke some kind of correction or bluetooth update from higher up.

That's an issue.

The diagnostic test can come back as "no problem identified", but all that means is that the problem hasn't been identified. No problem? Come out to my car or let me call you from my car, then look me in the eyes and tell me "no problem". The qualifier is "identified". The phone may seem to be operating to specs, trouble is the specs don't make it work in my car, like many others. And unlike my old iPhone SE which was no issue, nor is the iPhone X. That to me, is a problem. And still without any resolution or input from Apple.
