Is there any suggestions for fixing the echoing on my iPhone 11? I don’t want to have to return it, but I will. Everyone who calls me is complaining about hearing them selves and it’s very annoying.

Do you have your phone in a case? And if you do, if you remove the case, does the same thing happen? Don't get me wrong though, I believe these phones need to be in a case, but perhaps if your phone is in a case, the case may be causing this which a different case wouldn't.

Thanks for replying. Yes, I do have a clear case on it. This phone was so expensive that I wanted to protect it. I hadn’t thought about that. I’ll take it off and see if that stops the echoing. If it does, I’ll have to get a new case. What do you suggest would be a good one? Thank you.
I'm currently using the Spigen Quartz Ultra Hybrid on both our iPhone 11 and 11 Pro Max. Great case. What I really like about it is the back is 9H hardened glass like a screen protector. It will never scratch. And the bumpers are really well engineered for bumps or falls.

Does this occur while using it as a speakerphone and when using headphones? Does it occur in all areas.
Thanks for your fast reply. Yes, it does when I use the speaker. I haven’t used the earphones yet. I prefer using the speaker the majority of the time so I’m hoping that this can be fixed.
When you say speaker, do you mean holding it to your head, or using it as a speakerphone by putting it on a table?
Both. Mainly as a speakerphone. I sometimes hold it in my hand, but mainly it sits on a table. I don’t actually hold it up to my head though.

I don't use a case, but I've heard good things about Otterbox.
Something you can try for the echo is to play with the noise cancellation feature. Settings/Accessibility - Audio/Visual - Phone Noise Cancellation. If it's on, try off, and vice versa. It uses a 2nd mic on the back of the phone near the camera. If this 2nd mic is covered it can interfere with speech.
