Wow that explains it. I hope you did not have to pay to replace it. Seems shady for a phone less than a year charging port to go bad. Glad you got it figured out though.

Happened to me too, I use my phone as my alarm clock, When you have to be awake at 1130pm for starting at 1am your alarm clock is essential

how did you know vs3134 is not using the correct procedure? coz I have tried the whole reset thing and its not working

This happens to me at least 75% of the time my iPhone charges. It never works with a forced reset (never resets) but always comes back when I plug it into a computer with iTunes. I contacted Apple, but they didn't really have any information.

This morning when I got up my new pro 11 was plugged into the charger and the screen is black. I have tried the suggestion of holding volume button up and holding volume button down. then holding the on/off button hopping the Apple button logo would appear. this suggestion did not work. The Apple store does not open until 10 am.

Don’t turn it off overnight.

Nothing weird about rebooting a computer, which is what an iPhone essentially is.

THANK YOU! tried this after my phone randomly crashed and it worked. by the way it crashed an hour before my phone interview, you saved a panic attacked.

I'm having the same problem. I did all the steps to do a hard reset. Also tried to plug into computer to try to restore from iTunes, but nothing has worked. The phone is completely unresponsive.

After sharing the outcome yesterday I bought a wireless charger and my phone started charging!. I think the port is bad as well, I am just relieved to know the issue. Thanks.
