How to remove missed call badge

I can’t seem to remove the missed call badge from the Phone app even though I don’t have any missed calls or unopened voicemail. Any tips I can try?

It is driving me mental, I need to get rid of it. Surely there’s a way.

I have an iPhone X iOS 13.1.2. Thank you.

Hey CYoo13! This happened to me once, there’s a few things u can try. Closing the Phone app from the App Switcher is 1st, if that doesn’t work then restart the device. Okay if those 2 don’t fix the false badge then you may need to clear your call logs but remember to save any numbers you may need! Do this by tapping “edit” in the top right of the call logs screen in the Phone app, then hit “clear” in the top left, you can also delete individual calls but being your problem log isn’t there that probably won’t work. Lastly if the problem is still occurring try resetting your carrier service by turning “Airplane Mode” on and back off after 30 seconds, or a more complete carrier network reset by going to “Settings> General>Reset>Reset Network Settings>Enter your passcode. Note doing this will change things like roaming or calls on WiFi back to default which can easily be returned to where you had them set if you had. Hope this helps! Anything else you need just ask!

It could possibly be the update, what version are you running now and which device? Also try this I just remembered, Settings>Notifications>Phone and toggle the Badges on and off, you can also toggle all Phone notifications on/off at the top of that screen. It’s wild clearing the call logs didn’t work though?! Are the “Missed” logs cleared too? It’s a tab to the right of recents at the top of the phone app.

I have an iPhone X currently running iOS 13.1.2.

When I turn the Badges off in Notifications, the false badge disappears but it’s still there when I turn it back on. I don’t want the badges turned off so when I do have actual missed calls, I’ll know so this isn’t the solution.

I cleared all call logs including voicemails but it’s still there...argh!

I’ve restarted my device a few times, I tried everything you suggested and no luck!
