Wi-Fi Connection Problem with new iPhone 11 Pro Max

Is anybody having connection problems with new iPhone 11 pro max? I keep losing my Wi-Fi connection and am having to restart the phone umpteen times a day. It's not a hardware issue, that I know absolutely for sure. Have had it checked. Has to be a prob with ios 13. Never had a problem with my Xs Max until I upgraded to ios 13. Then I started having problems on that phone too. Was told to turn off Wi-Fi Assist but this has not solved the problem. Keep dropping Wi-Fi signal! Anybody have any ideas?

lefreedy,

Thank you for the update.

I'm am happy to hear all seems improved with your Wi-Fi connection since following those suggested steps. I like your plan; if the issue pops up again try the reset of network settings.

If you need continued support, feel free to reach back out.

Take care.

Hi lefreedy,

Thank you for using the Apple Support Communities! I understand that you're experiencing an issue with Wi-Fi disconnecting continuously on your iPhone 11 Pro Max. I am happy to help.

Please run through the following troubleshooting steps to work towards a solution:

-Disable Bluetooth in Settings > Bluetooth (not Control Center), and test for the issue.

-Disable LTE in Settings > Cellular, and test for the issue.

-Update your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support.

-Toggle Wi-Fi off and back on in Settings > Wi-Fi (not Control Center).

-Restart your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support.

-Restart the Wi-Fi network (modem, router, and all network equipment).

If the behavior continues, I would like you to then reset your network settings under Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings. This also resets Wi-Fi networks and passwords, cellular settings, and VPN and APN settings that you’ve used before.

Reach back out if the issue remains, and you need continued support.

Thank you!

So far so good! Did exactly as suggested and have not had to restart the phone once! Fingers crossed, that may be the problem solved. Have not had to reset Network Settings thus far and with a bit of luck I won't have to! Thank you very much for your help. I was getting incredibly frustrated! I have had every single iPhone and have never encountered this problem before.

If the problem does recur, I will reset the Network Settings and see if that solves the problem. If it doesn't, I may need your help again.

Much obliged to you.

I have rebooted my router, reset the network settings, reset my phone back to factory and I still have issues with WiFi at home and at work. With my previous iPhones, just resetting the network always did the trick . I’m beginning to believe it’s a hardware issue with my phone. I’m very technically inclined all of my other devices in my house work fine except for my iPhone. I constantly have to use cellular data just to perform searches. I’ve also tried toggling WiFi of and on and airplane mode, but still this issue persists. I am on the latest software as well.

Wish I could help! I sympathise totally with the problem. Was driving me mad! Have had every single iPhone and have never encountered this before. Had the same issue when I updated to IOS 13 on my Xs Max. Had never had any kind of issue until then so assumed it must be linked to the software rather than a hardware prob. Even so, had the 11 Pro Max checked and double checked. Hardware checks out. No issue of any kind. Has to be gremlins in 13. Have been luckier than you and seem to have resolved the issue. Followed every step except I didn’t seem to need to reset Network Settings. Problem seem to be solved before that became necessary.

Wish I could be more helpful but just wanted to share my experience and wish you luck.

I would dearly love to help! I really don’t know what else to suggest. I followed the instructions I was given by a couple of other members of the community and it resolved all the issues I was having. I can only suggest contacting Apple direct. Really sorry, I know only too well how frustrating these things can be!!!
