I recently updated my iPad Air 2 with the new iOS 13.2 update, but now it won’t let me watch any YouTube videos

i recently updated my iPad Air 2 with the new IOS update, but now it won’t let me watch any YouTube videos. Dumb problem, right? But every single time I go to watch a YouTube video it doesn’t work, saying that the address is invalid. The YT app never worked on my iPad, so I use it on safari- but after the update it won’t let me watch videos. I can log in, search videos, like comments, subscribe to people, and like/dislike videos, but as soon as I click on the thumbnail it gets blurry and won’t let me watch anything with out a “safari cannot open this page because the address is invalid” pop up. What’s up with that?
