I have an iPad mini 5 with ipadOS 15.4.1. I used to watch YouTube videos all the time on my iPad mini 5 using the YouTube app. Then I stopped using my iPad mini for 6 months and today when I opened the YouTube app I noticed it keeps buffering for a while and finally says there was an error, please refresh and try again. Weird thing is I can play youtube videos through safari going to YouTube.com and it works like a charm.

Thanks for the reply. I already updated the ios, uninstalled YouTube app and installed it again. Still, videos playing in youtube app buffer in an infinite loop. I'm not sure what else to do. It's definitely not the internet since I can play youtube videos from Safari and can watch videos on Netflix as well.
