On my IPhone 11, My 2015 Ford Explorer says for text messages “The currently connected phone does not support text messaging via Bluetooth.” Is there another software update that will fix this issue? I’ve already updated to the 13.1.2 version. My car had no problem reading text messages via Bluetooth with my 6s.

On your iPhone go to Settings > Bluetooth > see the little circle with an i in it on the car name > Tap the circle > Make sure Show Notifications is turned on.
