Music Folders are a mess

Upgraded to iPhone 11 Pro and restored from iTunes - now some albums are labelled totally incorrect - see below with "Clare" being labelled "Alanis Morisette" and "Ed Kowalczyk" being labeled "Avicii" - there's numerous more - how do I fix this? I also lost quite alot of music imported to iTunes from CD's?

Songs lost when syncing iPhone with iTunes just installed on a new computer Following consolidation and transferring iTunes to a new computer with the most recent version of iTunes, all my songs and playlists were copied correctly. But after syncing my iPhone to iTunes, a significant number of songs were lost and the play lists reverted to abbreviated playlists from several years ago. When I repasted my saved iTunes folder to my music folder on the new computer, I did not get my original songs and playlists back but merely the ones left over from the syncing. My proposed solution is to delete iTunes from my new computer and delete the iTunes folder from my music folder and delete the music library from my iPhone and then reinstall iTunes, paste the iTunes folder in the music folder on my new computer and then copy my iTunes library to my iPhone. I have accumulated my library from downloads and from CDs over the past 15 years during which time I have gone through two or three computers I have never had this problem before. Is this a familiar problem and does anyone have a solution?

itunes cant re-add music from itunes to iphone after it was deleted directly from iphone Using iphone 8 iOS 12.4.1 and latest itunes on windows10. I've been getting issues with the music app on my phone after transferring files using itunes. I have a mixture of purchased music through itunes, and also music ripped from CD's. Around 15 albums now have reverted to showing numbers rather than letters, and I now have around 30 albums all showing artwork from Fleetwood Mac's Rumours album. I followed advice from a few threads and deleted the tracks from my iphone, but now I am unable to re-add them to the iphone from itunes. Some of these are purchased from itunes, and when i have tried to re-download them they appear greyed out in the itunes store and I dont even have the option of paying for them again, even though i shoudnt have to! been looking through the threads but cant find anything that helps, so if anyone has any ideas, i would appreciate it.

Thank you for contacting Apple Support Communities. Based on what you stated, it seems like the names of the albums are not correct. While this article says for songs that are missing, there are steps in this article that may help.

"Turn Sync Library off, then turn it back on

You might be able to fix your issue by turning Sync Library off for all of your devices, then turning it back on again. Learn how."

If songs are missing from your music library after you turn on Sync Library
