DELL U3818DW screen no longer supported.
My widescreen worked fine in Mojave.
Looks like it is not supported by Catalina. The highest resolution available is 1920x800, which is way lower than my screen is capable of.
I am using Mac Pro (Late 2013)

I followed the "alt" suggestion above too ("alt" is the "option" key on the MacBook keyboard), and chose the 3840 x 1600 (low resolution) option, which is the U3818 native resolution. This seemed to restore the display to the previous resolution I used with Mojave. If any anomalies are observed with this setting, please post them here.
Parallel Toolbox doesn't propose the 3840 x 1600...
I got this weird issue... :
For both I use the DELL WD15 dock.
Funny thing, plugging directly with the usb-c adapter works...
And we got no answer for months on that topic ><
What a user experience...

Doing this on VMware Fusion:
Interesting. Nifty workaround, on Parallels’ part I do not use Parallels, so I was not aware of that. My Mac is being serviced right now, so I cannot try that at the moment with VMWare Fusion.
Here is the closest item I can find on VMWare Fusion in accordance is at page 10 of this link: VMware Tools Configuration Utility User’s Guide
A Screenshot of Page 10. It Reads:
So, apparently, for VMware Fusion, that would not work, being that it does not affect the host (the Mac). But I most certainly plan look into it.
