Bluetooth audio stream drop

Since I updated to MacOS Catalina on my Macbook pro's audio streaming output via my bluetooth speaker keeps switching to the internal speakers despite indicating the speaker is still paired to the mac. No such issues of such kind while using Mojave. Any ideas?

Audio Stopping I have a bluetooth headphone and since the Mac OS Catalina update my audio stops playing randomly after a while. If I go to "Preferences>Sound" the "Bluetooth" output option is still there, but won't work. I have to turn off the bluetooth connection and connect again to reestablish the audio. MacBook Pro. No sound internal speakers after disconnecting Bluetooth devices Hi. I have a 2015 MacBook Pro running Catalina 10.15.2 The internal speakers work fine until I connect a Bluetooth device then if I disconnect the internal speakers no longer work. It doesn't matter what the bluetooth device is I tried it with different wireless headphones. With previous OSs I used to restart Safari but now I must restart the computer to get this fixed. Anything obvious to try?

Bluetooth Stuttering in Catalina on external BT speaker I have incredibly bad bluetooth stuttering on Catalina when on external speaker. I have tried the Bluetooth Explorer from Xcode 11 and Xcode 11.4. To increase packets or buffer etc. I think I set the values too high, now Bluetooth Explorer crashes when I click on tools-> Audio Options. I have tried sudo defaults delete bluetoothaudiod "AAC Bitrate" to get it to stop crashing like another user suggested but this returns: "Domain (bluetoothaudiod) not found." Can someone tell me how to get Audio Options in Bluetooth Explorer in Xcode 11 or 11.4 to work again? And how to prevent Catalina from stuttering incredibly bad on an external BT speaker

I updated to 10.15.2 and it worked for a couple of hours then it started having issues again.

I'm using a JBL Charge 4 and a 2013 MacBook Air.

Upgraded to 10.15.3 and still having this issue where it switches from AirPods 2 to internal speakers. Been going on for months now.

Same thing with three different bluetooth headphones, including Apple's own Beats. When I called Apple they proposed to give me new headphones.

same exact problem here after catalina update. tested with multiple devices. if i try to switch back to bluetooth via the Music app while streaming Apple Music, i get an error telling me the bluetooth device is already in use... following

Spoke with Apple support and they had me send logs with date and time of it doing that and are supposed to get back with me. Will let you know when I find out.

same here, tried to delete com.apple.Bluetooth.plist, did not work.
