hmopt

Updated. Now getting message "hmopt" will damage your computer. You should move it to trash. I kept Report malware to Apple to protect other users. Option to Move to Trash does not work. Message keeps popping up. Anyone else gotten this message? Thank you.

One option is to use one of the respected diagnostic tools like etrecheck or MalwareBytes to detect and remove any of the files associated with adware, like what "hmopt" may be a part of based on a quick internet search I did.
