What information is compromised? Email Scam.

So my girlfriend isn't that tech savvy and she fell for such a bad trap. She didn't look at the actual email address it was sent from and it just said Apple. She did not type the website herself but clicked the link. She was getting ready for work so she wasn't paying attention at all. We were on the phone and I warned her before she sent her whole life's information.

So I got her to check the actual email and yeah, surprise it's not Apple. So I got her to call and tell her manager she'd be late and then she called everywhere she needs and informed the FTC on their website because yes, she also gave her social security number lol, as if Apple would ever ask that.

My question is if you type something but do not send it, is the information compromised? I don't think so. She was entering her main bank account's number when I stopped her. Otherwise changing that is a lil more difficult and she'd have to go to a branch.

Thanks for reading!
