can't change store from UK to Turkey

While changing from Uk to turkey store my payment is getting rejected. I just bought a book from amazon just to see if it is working and it worked! So what is the problem from apple that it is rejected ?

Hi

What does 'rejected' mean, what happens ? A pop up message appears (desktop) " Payment declined. Choose another payment method"

You live in turkey, the card is registered to exactly the same name and Turkish address as on the account, and was issued by a turkish bank ? Yes (Garanti Bank) I just used in Amazon worked perfectly. Living in couple of countries because of business and right now trying to do it in Dubai if this is important.

If it's a debit card that might be why it's being declined.

For a card to have a chance of being accepted it needs to be registered to the same name and address (including format and spacing etc.) that you have on your iTunes account, and have been issued by a bank in the country where you are (and therefore the country which is on your iTunes account).

If you are currently living in the UAE that is the country whose store you should use

f it's a debit card that might be why it's being declined. It is clear in the entry form it says credit card/ debit card. Also last month I was in turkey store and was able to pay icloud storage with the same debit card. So this should not be the issue.

If you are currently living in the UAE that is the country whose store you should use. This is not mandatory, I did it before so I don't think this is the reason.

It might be, not all debit cards work with iTunes. And what is or isn't accepted by iTunes can change over time

Could be some other validation that iTunes uses, or if it's a debit card, or the card holder declining.

Using a country's store when you don't live in that country can result in Apple permanently disabling the account
