Catalina Working Great But Q. about Preboot Folder?

I Have this Folder called "PreBoot" now. It seems harmless and will leave it alone. Anyone know its purpose and should it be there?

macOS Catalina - Empty folder in trash after login. Since upgrading to macOS Catalina I find that every time I login there is an empty folder in the trash called "Recovered files". I delete it, but it returns ! I've tried booting in recovery and running First Aid in Disk Utility to no avail. I pride myself in running a tidy ship and this little annoyance has me beaten. Can I / How to Delete Catalina Install File Recently the internal hard drive on my iMac was going bad so I am now running OS Catalina and apps from an external SSD. I just noticed that the SSD is getting full, and in looking for what I can delete I see the file "Install macOS Catalina", which is 8.26 GB in size. Can I actually delete this file without messing anything up? Again, I am running OS Catalina from this same drive to operate my iMac. Thank you.
