iMac 2019 fan noise

Hello everybody,

I just got my new iMac 5k, 3,6 GHz 8-Core Intel Core i9 with 2 TB fusion-drive. It works perfect except the fan noise when idle is way too loud. I checked the fan speed and it's around the minimum possible of 1200 rpm.

I've been using iMacs in the last 5 years and never experienced such a problem (none of them had ssd).

Of course I already tried to reset the SMC but nothing changed.

I can accept to hear the fan when I'm working on certain softwares but not when I'm just surfing the internet or writing txt documents.

What should I do?

Se I just checked the iMac I use in my office and it's a 2018 3.80 GHz Intel Core i5 with 2TB fusion-drive.

Fan speed at idle is the same of my new iMac (around 1200 rpm) but it makes no noise at all.

I'm really disappointed.

One of the main reason I choose to spend so much money on iMac is because it is silent (or it should be).

What's going on?
