crashing after supplemental Catalina update yesterday, will not wake up from sleep

I had problems too.. After Update Screen went to Black. Hit Power Button to see if it was off.. It Was Shutdown! Startup Got to 75% and just stayed there stuck for half-hour. Held Down Power Button and Restarted with CMD.-R Ran Disk Util. on Both Partitions. Then Restarted. Went to Black Screen again but Suddenly Came up with Login Screen. I dunno How it's all working again considering what I witnessed. Thought For Sure My MacBook Pro was a Goner. This was Very Frightening and Am Very Angry at Apple-Mac Team for The Panic Attack I Had. This OS has got to be ReWorked and perhaps Recalled for All The Issues I've seen reported. ~RpH

Yes this whole episode shook me up so badly I actually for the first time ever, Emailed Tim Cook about this event. Don't know if anyone will see it.. but Miracles do happen. I Pray for your System to be restored believe me!
