I am unable to download and install watchos 6

I am unable to download and install WatchOS 6. I have an Apple Watch Series 1, an iPhone XR with iOS 13.1.2. I seem to fulfil every criterion of installing WatchOS 6.

However, whenever I try to do so (from Watch app on my iPhone since current WatchOS version is 5.3.2), it shows me the message that my software is up-to-date, which for a fact I know it isn't.

Can anyone please help me with this. Thanks in advance.

It is not out for the Series 1 or 2 as of yet.

watchOS 6 compatibility.

watchOS 6 requires iPhone 6s or later with iOS 13 or later, and one of the following Apple Watch models:

Apple Watch Series 1
Apple Watch Series 2
Apple Watch Series 3
Apple Watch Series 4
Apple Watch Series 5

Not all features are available on all devices. **

** watchOS 6 will be available for Apple Watch Series 1 and Apple Watch Series 2 later this fall.

Hi Randy,

I see the specification says-->

watchOS 6 requires iPhone 6s or later with iOS 13 or later, and one of the following Apple Watch models:

Apple Watch Series 1
Apple Watch Series 2

But, it also says: ''watchOS 6 will be available for Apple Watch Series 1 and Apple Watch Series 2 later this fall."

To me that's confusing. Anyway, if it's true that it's not supporting WatchOS 6 yet, I can wait. But we expect clearer specifications from Apple.
