My mac updated and now the Canon Image Formula DR-C225 won't work. "CaptureOnTouch DR-C225 needs to be updated.
How can I do that?
they may not have a 64bit version yet

Go to the Canon support website, https://www.canon.co.uk/support/products/document-scanners/dr-series/imageformula-dr-c225.html?type=drivers&language=en&os=macos%2010.15%20(catalina)
So you will see that Canon has not determined if the scanner can work in Catalina, can't be that hard,
they do have drivers for Mojave available, it would do no harm to install them and see if it will work.
If you haven't already done so.
Just click on the selector under Your Operating System.
