For the most part I am very much enjoying the new iPhone 11 Pro cameras and Camera app. But, there seems to be a limitation. I've tried using the "Preserve Settings" to keep the settings I used last with the camera but only a limited number of settings are kept.
Why not keep the aspect ratio or the temperature ("original" vs "vivid" etc.). It's fine it preserves live mode off/on but these other modes are equally important.

Thanks for that info and for choosing the Apple Support Communities. If I understand correctly, you are unable to preserve certain camera settings on your new iPhone. First, make sure you have Creative Controls enabled in Settings > Camera > Preserve Settings on your iPhone:

Next, make sure your iPhone is up to date, as the updates contain stability fixes that can resolve issues like yours, as well as important security updates to keep your iPhone safe.

Thank you - that was helpful. I thought I had enabled "Creative Controls" but it was disabled. Either I didn't set it or it was an early "glitch" in iOS. At any rate, it's working now (and my iPhone has been up to date as of last Sunday).
