I am missing photos from my icloud backup after switching phones

Hello,

yesterday I upgraded from an iPhone 7 to the 11pro and did an icloud backup of the 7. I made sure everything was checked, photos, contacts, emails etc. and the backup said complete. So I restored on the new phone but later realized that not all my photos were restored. I had over 3000 photos and only 469 are showing up on the icloud photos. Like an eager dummy I wiped the old phone before I realized this so no chance of going back to redo the backup. Any chance the photos are in the backup? The size of the backup looks right. Really hope so, important memories.

IF you sync photos to icloud, it is not part of the icloud backup.
