Marked up pdf appears blank when emailing

I’ve recently updated to 13.1.2.

I use the markup a LOT to sign .pdf docs. I receive them via email, I sign them and send them back. No problem. UNTIL I updated to 13.1.2. Now, even though I can see the signed pdf in my sent emails, the receiver says the pdf is blank.

What can I do to remedy this?
