I have been getting this message since I updated my laptop "helpermcp will damage your computer. You should move it to the Trash. But I can't move it to trash nor can I cancel it. Both options doesn't respond whenever I tried. Please how can I get rid of this?

Do you have Norton?Symantec software installed. Somewhere else, the " xxxx could damage your computer" messages were traced to Norton/Symantec. You should not have any software from them installed. It will make a mess of your Mac.
Download and run Malwarebytes. Malwarebytes was developed by one of our own colleagues here in ASC and is about the most proven anti-malware software for Mac.
I've also seen it linked to "Cleaner" apps.
