Audible app message that “paired watch not responding.”

Trying to download Audible book to new series 5 watch. Watch and phone are not on airplane mode, and I have tried re-pairing the phone and watch several times. Watch is paired to phone, but message is that the watch is not responding. Both devices are updated with latest software. Any other ideas?

Audible app won’t download... Yesterday I upgraded from the Apple Watch 3 to the 5 with cellular service. After a few bumps I’ve figured out how to set most things back up but the one issue I am having is with the audible app. I can’t get it to even download to the watch. My previous app had everything working on it perfectly. It’s listed as an available app but when I click install it spins for about 30 seconds, at most, then just goes back to the install button.. any suggestions? This is a Nike Watch 5.

Watch Series 5 - bugs and misbehavior Can someone please tell me what's wrong with (my) Apple Watch Series 5? I got it for two month now and sometimes this watch gets me pretty upset cause of bugs and misbehavior. (1) I often can't swipe up and down from the mainscreen. Swiping left or right does a proper job though. Rebooting the watch solves the issue- however that's an inappropriate solution. (2) Followed by Bluetooth issues: I own two different non-Apple headphones. Both suffering from frequent connection dropouts. Again, rebooting the watch kind of solves the issue- and again, I say this is not a satisfying solution. Maybe you have another advice other than buying Apple EarPods? (3) And finally some misbehavior around app: (3.1) I can't get the Podcasts-app to just continue listening to podcasts, I previously listened on iPhone-app to. There is this icon to select listening devices, however, there is no option to select my Watch. (3.2) Following, sometimes it just won't start to play. Watch is connected using cellular, iPhone is at home. Hitting the play button will fire a fading animation on the play-icon, but it won't do anything more. (3.3) Same problem with Spotify-app as well by the way. (3.4) On some apps there is this label on the top-left-corner which sometimes is a back-button and sometimes just a headline. Sometimes the back-button is indicated by a chevron- sometimes. Maybe there is an obvious difference, I'm unable to see? Are you also having these kinds of issues with your watch? Maybe you got some advice on how to get around these problems?

Try unpairing....then pairing again.
