java notification

I'm getting the endless "Java needs to be updated" notification ever since I updated to Catalina, and my laptop has the latest Java (as far as I know). How do I get rid of this notification? Last time this happened, there was a way around it and I got it to go away, but.... there's nothing on the internet about this yet.

how to remove App Store update notifications on Mac OS Catalina? Hello. I have 5 application updates showing in App Store on my Mac mini 2018, non of which I use at all. It is very bothersome to keep looking at the number 5 inside a red circle on top of the App Store icon on the Dashboard on the Lower side of the screen reminding me all day to update. Is there a way to remove that notification without having to update those applications? If so, could you please tell me how? Thanks.

Frequent System Notifications and alerts Since a few days I get frequent notifications (see image) which I can only switch off when I disable System Notifications but I wonder what kind of hack this is and how I can remove it. When I click on the notifications, I am redirected to Yahoo in the Brave browser, but it also opens Safari asking to scan the mac mimicking McAfee but via the URL semaricom.com, a bad reputation website. I did not try any further steps.

I'm also going to add - the error notice comes up more than once in a single session of using my computer. Does anyone know how to fix this??
