I cannot find my whatsapp on my watch apps on my i phone

Can’t see my whatsapp with app listed on “my watch” app on my iphone! So I didn’t receive notifications on my apple watch! How to fix it?

WhatsApp on Apple Watch Hey I transferred using iCloud to a new iphone and then synced my new Apple Watch. Not had one before so forgive me sounding really stupid. I cannot get WhatsApp to appear as an app option for my watch. I’ve uninstalled WhatsApp and reinstalled. Notifications are switched on etc. What am I missing? It’s not appearing in the dock. There is no official Whatsapp for the watch at this time.
