Brother DCP-7065DN app
Since Mac upgraded to Catalina my Brother DCP-7065DN Control Center will not function. How do I get an app that will allow my printer to function?
iMac 27", macOS 10.14

See the following from Brother support https://support.brother.com/g/s/id/os/macintosh.html
The Brother ControlCenter2 is not supported by macOS v10.15.
Use the Brother iPrint&Scan as an alternative function.

So, it's all about a switch to different Apps?
I'll give it a go, my time, and see how it all works out. Being only Europe, that'd be the only thing that's a question of compatibility.

Create & Run macOS 10.13 as a Virtual Machine:
The only thing that works for me is via use of a Virtual Machine (VM); I print right off of that. It's a bit techie, but it works.
So, create a Virtual Machine (VM) using VM software like VMWare Fusion or Parallels. You would create a USB installer of High Sierra, and then install it on the VM software. There are many, many posts on these forums about Brother's products currently being incompatible at the moment with macOS 10.14 Catalina.

Brother does have Catalina compatible printer and scanner drivers for the DCP-7065DN as well as a newer app than Control Center (although neither the newer app nor Control Center are need to print and scan).
It can be about both apps and drivers. I have never used any Brother apps on my Mac (although I have on Windows). They are not needed but you may (or may not) prefer them to Apple's.
