Mail issue with MS exchange server on macOS Catalina

Since upgrade macOS to Catalina, my mail is not able to move mail on exchange server to local mail folder, also all the read mails from Mail is not changing it status.

there is no problem with iOS 13, so I from my iPhone I can still see those mail I have moved to local folder or read using MacBook are still on exchange server.

Well... for me this is solved finally.. How? By simply removing and then reinstalling the exchange account on Mac OS X, and configure it manually (after the Catalina update 10.15.3). Be careful though! Since your exchange account and Mac mail were disconnected for a while, folders will contain emails on your mac but not in the same folders in your exchange account. These mails will be in your main inbox folder. So if you use folders where you frequently delete/ move messages to and from, take a picture of those, and replace the messages in those folders after re establishing contact with the exchange server... You will find old messages in folders you thought were already long gone..

For me deleting/ moving/ reading messages in Mac OS X now nicely get updated at the exchange server again....

Any update on this issue? I've tried all the suggestions, rebuild, synchronize, delete and recreate as well as create a new user and migrate manually. None of these fixes work for more than a few days or weeks at best. I am now back to the same issue for the 6th time - my one Exchange account is not syncing correctly - mail I've deleted or moved to iCloud folders still shows up on iPad, iPhone, iMac and MacBooks - basically the account in question is not being synchronized correctly across my devices. Even the painful migration to a brand new account (which took days to complete) only worked for less than two weeks. Any news or updates would be appreciated?

This is really sad that Apple ignores Apple Mail, which is such an important app - a number of old bugs have come back recently as well, for example when one is moving mail to folders the suggested mailbox is "off by one" it is suggesting for the preceding email in the INBOX - this was fixed a while back and has now returned, sigh. Apple please fix these issues - they are "mission critical" since many of us still depend on mail and I have no desire or willingness to use Outlook. Kind regards and look forward do any news.

Interesting. On my three Macs (2xCatalina and a Big Sur beta), an iPhone running 13.6 and an iPad running 14.0 beta, I am getting my Exchange Mail messages (and calendar events) on both the respective Apple Mail client and the Microsoft Outlook clients. These have been relatively stable for about 4 weeks now. I am also able to schedule meetings on the Apple Calendar and it reflects on the Exchange calendar.

The Catalina systems are fully current.

This is so strange. Again, I wish/hope Apple would be looking at and focusing some debugging effort on these problems.

Surprising. I have about 300 incoming emails a day, about 80 or so from Exchange. I have more than 650k messages. As far as I know, I've not lost an email in about 4 years.

Another thing I try to do is to not keep a bunch of emails in my "inbox" for Exchange; I'm not sure how this contributes to things...

As an FYI, at least in my email, there is what seems to be a set of folders down at the bottom of the folder list specifically for Exchange. They seem to contain Exchange emails I write on (originating from) my iOS devices. I've also found Exchange invites to which I've accepted or not also in these folders.

Regardless, I'm sorry you lost the email; I know how frustrating that can be.
