Any time I type in French, the words are often flagged as misspelled in Notes. Is there a way to incorporate the language into the software's spell check so that this does not occur?
(Note: I do not wish to turn off the auto-spell check function completely)

Go to Edit > Spelling and Grammar > Show Spelling and Grammar and set the dictionary to what you want.
