application window shifts up and down with mouse movement Catalina

Hello everyone, Whenever I move the mouse to the bottom of the screen the opened window my iMac shifts up , when I move the mouse to the top, the window shifts down. Same with left ( windows shifts right) or right movement of the mouse. I had this problem yesterday and I rebooted and everything was fine after, but I still have the same problem now. A screen capture shows the complete window without any missing part. The images included where taken with my iPhone. Any ideas, bug? new strange feature? thank you

Hello and welcome to Apple Support Communities serge281,

I see that you're having an issue with the display on your Mac shifting when nearing the edge with your cursor. I understand wanting to get this resolved, and I'd be happy to help.

It sounds as though Zoom may have been enabled on your Mac, causing the screen to zoom. In this state, the screen moves when the cursor is near the edge of your screen in order to be able to view the entire contents of the display. This functionality can be adjusted or disabled entirely in System Preferences > Accessibility as detailed here: Change Zoom preferences for accessibility on Mac

Hello serge281,
You're very welcome! Glad that worked.
Take care!

None of my business I know, but ......... why did YOU make this acknowledgement and not 'kereng12'?

It was, after all, 'kereng12' who provided the helpful advice. 🤔

I note that both of you are a "Community Specialist" - but I have no idea what that means! Will you, please, explain?
