Getting photos from my broken phone

My Iphone 7 screen has totally broken, it has been smashed before but never affected the use of the phone. this time, i cant enter my passcode to get in the screen is flashing and it wont link to my macbook.

does anyone know how I can access my photos? i have an icloud account

Iphone help So I had just shattered my iPhone screen and all I can see is a black screen, I am getting a new phone but need to import my photos that are not on iCloud onto my MacBook Pro. I can't do anything beyond unlock my phone and use Siri to navigate and half the time she won't do what I want her to. I can't import my photos to my MacBook for some odd reason and would greatly appreciate some help!

phone screen is not visible due to breakage, how do I download my photos prior to erasing my phone My phone was run over by multiple cars.. long story. I have a lock on my phone. Is there anyway to download the photos to my computer? It is still making sounds and can still be located on find my phone and is in my possession. I have a macbook pro I am attempting to download to unsuccessfully.

Icloud account? too vague you can read here if you use this Set up and use iCloud Photos - Apple Support

Were you using iCloud photo library?

Do you have a backup of your phone, either in iCloud or iTunes?
