Guest user icon

Guest user was set up in preferences but the icon does not appear on the screen when Mac is turned on. Before I upgraded to Catalina the icon always appeared next to mine. How do I get it back?

You might want to play around with the settings on System Preferences > Users & Groups.

First, verify the Guest account is active.

And right below it, check to make sure the settings on the "Login Options" screen is setup the way you think it should be.
