Zoom Enabled

Since upgrading to iPadOS I am now getting an error message in the middle of my screen “Zoom Enabled”. Does anyone have a solution?

That requires my intervention on something that shouldn’t be there at all. I’m looking for a solution to remove the annoyance of it popping up uninvited into the middle of my screen while I’m working on something. But thanks anyway.
