Issues installing Windows onto MacBook.

Hi there,

Recently I got a new SSD with the intention to install Windows 10 through boot camp onto my MacBook Pro.

I’ve run into some issues with the install. It seems to take hours (Like a workday) before moving onto the next screen.

I’ve encountered this issue several times. I also have three bootable drives with wininstall. Tested them all and yet no resolve.

I’m starting to think is there an issue with my Mac? I thought maybe it was a corrupt Windows ISO but by testing all three drives, that doesn’t seem to be the case.

if any of you can point me in the right direction that would be great!

Hi Loner T,

Thanks for your response. I was able to figure out the problem.

i have two internal SSDs. One of them was the one I tried to install Windows on.

apparently you have to disconnect all devices, including the internal ones as it might interfere with the one you’re trying to install on.

Once I removed the other drive, it booted and installed within five minutes!
