My iPhone X updated itself a few days ago. Now when I’m texting or using the keyboard, initials keep appearing throughout my text, mostly CB, vm, FB. CB is constantly there. I have to edit my texts CB before sending. I left that last CB in as an example.
Help! How CB do I make it go away?

If you go to settings> keyboard and toggle the “slide to type” function to off, should fix it.
when pressing the space bar, if you accidentally slide onto a letter, auto correct tries to change the random letters to a recognisable initial or abbreviation.

Thanks jggrr, I just changed my setting on Keyboard to Slide to Type to OFF. I will let you know in a couple days if it fixed the problem.
I am having the same CB issue. I have tried to reset the keyboard dictionary and disabled autocorrect, the issue prevails still. Never has this issue prior to the last software update??
Dwayne, try turning slide to type off rather than auto correct.
I had the same problem and turned off the slide to type in keyboard settings and that fixed the problem.
Does this to me as well....a million times a day!!!!!!!!! Sooooooo annoying!! I hate my iPhone since the new IOS update!!!! CB EVERY-TIME I TRY TO TYPE ANYTHING !!!!!!!
The slide to type fix works. I did that and SO MUCH BETTER!
This also happens to me. CB and vm inserted into my texts constantly. This has been happening for a couple of months now. I do not have them as shortcuts for anything. Why is this happening?
I am cc also getting CB inserted randomly when I am text messaging people. It is happening all the time.

(Apple, this should be off by default if you can’t fix the issue)

I just turned off my slide to type function and did a test text. Still have the “CB”.

i use my phone for business mostly it’s CB very annoying to have that pop up

Go to settings, general, keyboard, turn off slide to type function.
