CB appears everywhere when I text

It happens when texting. When sending or replying to messages as you are typing a sentence CB will be inserted within a sentence. Actually as I was typing this FB was inserted before the word message.

CB automatically types when I text, when I comment on Facebook, use messenger, or fill in any form. It usually happens after I end a sentence, but also mid sentence. It tends to happen more with some contacts than others. Then there are times it doesn’t occur at all, like now. Very frustrating. I was sent link to this discussion from friend who is sick m of receiving my jumbled texts. Please reply with a solution.

I have the same problem. I can be texting anyone and when I hit the space bar, it adds CB, some times, not every time. I think it started when I got my X Max. It drives me crazy. Until now no one else seemed to know what I was talking about when I explained it to them. That includes Apple.

I used to have the problem with CB appears but got that resolved. Now I am having a problem that when I hit space it puts in the same letter as my last letter used in place of a space. Not all the time but quite often. Anyone else have this problem or know the solution to it?

Mine phone has been doing it all the time too!! After I did an update to my phone. In mid sentence it’ll insert itself whenever. I’ve tried to see when it does or doesn’t. But there’s no similarity as to when.

It drives me crazy, because CB , VW and now more letters appear in my texts I paid a lot of monies for this IPhone 11 and Apple should be helpful with this problem But I guess the Stardom from Apple let them think” WHO CARES”

No more IPhones for my family

I have CB, CCM and a plethora of acronym like characters that appear at random, in a most unpredictable fashion. It is the most frustrating experience I have encountered. It announces itself in a most uninviting fashion. I have spent hours in cues at Apple Centres, waiting to see techs. That long, that the day, drawers to a close at 5pm, only to be told, we'll schedule you in for an appointment tomorrow. Mind you, I'm some 80kms from the nearest centre. I'm at my ends wit, with constantly having to amend each and every 2nd second sentence I type, sometimes up to three corrections are required. It's a nightmare to say the least. It not only happens in one field, but occurs in facebook, text messaging, ebay messaging and every other field which enables text. Not happy. I echo your annoyance at this most menacing imposition.

I’m equally frustrated with the capital letter insertion. I have the added dilemma of the insertion “vin” in my texts! I h avent seen anyone else mention this one. I honestly believe my phone is a Lemmon. In addition to these issues, my screen will suddenly have everything enlarged to the point where I can only see one pixel on one one icon! I had to learn to do a soft reset-but then I couldn’t do the reset with the cover I had!

when I first bought this phone, the life proof cover I initially purchased would click the ringer off when I put it on the phone! I went through 3 covers before I found one that wouldn’t do this!

Apple doesn’t seem to be working on this problem-the letter insertion. And, I can’t seem to figure out what “sliding the thingy” means to resolve this.

what I really wanna do is smash this phone against the wall and tell Apple to shove the shards where the sun don’t shine!

Since I got my new iPhone 11 Pro Plus 5 months ago, VM’s and CB’s appear all over VM my texts. Now suddenly I receive texts with double upside down question marks between sentences in various other people’s texts!!!! What to do?

Lots of people have this problem....I don't recall Apple telling about it when I ordered their most expensive phone. Nor do I feel I should have to work a solution independent of Apple....

Perhaps someone out there can give a consise, simple fix for the rotten apple text CB intrusion.

I am having the same problem, whenever I’m texting or using the keyboard, initials CB keep appearing throughout my text, mo I have to edit my text all the time

Obviously, and did I say obviously, if this “CB” is happening to lots of people, it has nothing to do with the stinking spell check. I get the exact same thing. The explanation for “it would be helpful for us to know more about where you’re seeing it and when,” is being described as after you hit the space bar, after certain letters etc. What more do you need to know? I’m not a techy and I know, if the same sequence of letters are occurring in EVERYBODY’S text, it is a bug that Apple can fix. Give us something that actually makes sense.

I too am having the “CB” issue. Is there any way to stop it? It’s extremely annoying and affects everything I’m trying to type.
