iPhone 8 - 2019 Honda Pilot Siri stopped working

I have an iPhone 8 and a 2019 Honda Pilot. I cannot make an "eyes free" phone call like I have since May when I got the car, which uses Siri. I hit the talk button on the steering wheel, and say call home (for example), Siri replies with "Hmmm, Let me see". Then after a pause, it says "I can't do that right now, try later". The issue started happening right after the iOS 13 update, which was around the same time Honda did a software update to fix a recall. I'm sure both companies will blame each other.
