Hi! I am trying to setup my new macbook pro and when to asks me to create a computer account, I can’t change the name. For some reason I try to type it at it doesn’t work. How can I change the information in the blank spaces?? Thank you

Were you able to complete the setup process since making this post? If not, I recommend holding power on your Mac until it shuts down; then start it up again and start the process to see if that helps.

To look at another possibility, did you try migrating data from another Mac or setting up a user account with a similar name prior to making this post? You mentioned you're seeing an alert that the account name can't be used, and knowing that background information may be useful.
