Ringer volume on iPhone randomly goes to maximum

After the iOS 13 update my iphoneX started to randomly max out the ringer volume. And it not only maxes ringer volume but the alarm and volume on other apps. It will scare me to death when it goes off. There is no rhyme or reason as to when it happened. Then a couple weeks ago I got the iPhone 11 pro and it is still happening. So I know it is not the phone hardware. It has happened on 2 different phones. I Back my phone up on my PC via iTunes. Since this started, I’ve backed up my phone twice and done a factory reset on my phones. Anyone else having this problem? I thought maybe it had something to do with CarPlay because I when I plugged my phone into my car I saw the ring volume display at max volume. But then it happened when I wasn’t plugged into my car. Help!

Hello TB0915 and welcome to Apple Support Communities.

I see you hare having an issue with the volume of ringtones on your iPhone.

Adjust the volume on iPhone - Apple Support

Especially , see this part:

Lock the ringer and alert volumes in Settings

Go to Settings.

Tap Sounds & Haptics.

Turn off Change with Buttons.

Once you have the ringer volume set to the level you like it at, turning off Change With Buttons may prove helpful.

Cheers
