Apple TV Remotes are not Accessible

This is not a question, but a comment. Apple TV remotes are too sensitive to easily operate unless you are using the microphone, and that option is often inaccurate and not helpful at all. An older adult, my fingers are not as moist as they used to be, so my swipes are often inaccurate or ignored. Lick my fingers or put on hand creme?

The design, though sleek and cool-looking, is not functionally desirable. All black and hard to find, the grasp end is shiny and the operational end is matte. Not quickly discernible. I'm going to put a swatch of brightly colored duct tape on the grasping part, and recommend that others do the same. Too bad. There should be a better way!
